What do I need to rent a scooter for days?
A passport or ID, a credit/debit card to pay the deposit, and your driver's license. To rent a scooter with Cooltra, you must have a valid driver's license according to the scooter model you choose in the country where you are going to rent it.
Do you offer delivery and pick-up service?
Yes, we do. In most destinations, on step 2 of your online booking, you can add the extra Delivery/Pick-up of the scooter. Choose it, and we will deliver the scooter to the location you have selected (hotel, airport...). Remember that the staff will only wait for your arrival for about 20 minutes from the time selected in the booking.
What happens if I have an accident or the scooter is stolen?
You are covered by a comprehensive insurance with a deductible. Regarding damages that may occur to the scooter, or in the event of theft, you have to pay the amount stated in the deductible contract. If you have taken out the additional insurance for deductible reduction, in case of theft or damage, you will only have to pay the reduced amount of the contracted deductible.
Extras and batteries/chargers (in the case of electric scooters) are NOT included in the insurance.
