Cooltra Group, the European leader in sustainable two-wheel mobility, has announced a sponsorship agreement with Joaquín and Javier Bello, international beach volleyball stars popularly known as the ‘Bello Brothers’. Born in Madrid, they have reached number 15 in the world rankings at just 24 years old, climbing more than 150 places in the last three years. They currently live between Spain and the United Kingdom, the country they represent internationally.
With this agreement, Cooltra becomes the official sustainable mobility provider for the Bello brothers, who will also serve as brand ambassadors. They will have access to two Cooltra e-mopeds for their daily travel in Malaga, their training base for the world championship. Additionally, they will be able to use Cooltra’s shared e-mobility services, available in over 20 cities across six European countries, particularly in Madrid, their city of origin.
The Cooltra logo will also travel the world, being visible on both players’ training shirts and competition shorts.
This commitment to young talent reinforces Cooltra’s dedication to promoting a healthy, active, and dynamic lifestyle while connecting the brand with future electric mobility users. “We are thrilled to support a sport like beach volleyball and to partner with Javier and Joaquín, who not only stand out for their sporting talent but also for their ability to inspire a new generation of young people. Their dedication, commitment, and passion are qualities we share at Cooltra,” said Timo Buetefisch, CEO of Cooltra. “Together, we will drive sustainable mobility forward and support their journey towards Olympic success.”
For the Bello brothers, “It is an honour to have the support of a company that champions sustainability and shares our vision for a cleaner and healthier future. This sponsorship gives us the energy we need to achieve our sporting goals and facilitates our logistics and travel across Europe.” In 2025, the Bello brothers will participate for the second consecutive year in the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, one of the most prestigious global beach volleyball competitions. This tour brings together the world’s top teams and takes place across five continents over nine months. The first stop will be in March in Yucatán, Mexico, culminating in December with the Beach Volleyball World Championship in Adelaide, Australia. This tour is a key platform for earning Olympic ranking points.
